Salmon Creek

Known for its trails, parks, and proximity to nature, Salmon Creek is a picturesque scenic escape, with both newer and older homes.

The Salmon Creek area of Vancouver is named after the tributary Salmon Creek, which runs through the area. Salmon Creek encompasses homes both older and newer, and functions well as it’s own self-sustaining pocket of Vancouver. Most of your shopping and commercial needs can be fulfilled at the commerce center where i205 and i5 converge. This area is home to Safeway, Fred Meyer, Restaurants, offices, hotels, banks, and Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center (one of our main hospitals). Salmon Creek’s location where i205 and i5 converge makes it ideal for getting around the city quickly.

Salmon Creek Greenway Trail is a popular spot to walk, run, and be outdoors with family and friends. Salmon Creek is in Vancouver School District and it’s also home to the Washington State University Vancouver Campus, a 351 acre campus, which “provides six miles of walking, jogging and biking paths”. There are a variety of housing options in Salmon Creek, from older single family homes to newer ones, condos, and townhomes.
