Lakeshore

Lakeshore was mostly built between the 60’s-90’s and many of these homes have beautiful, sweeping views of the Vancouver Lake. Pride of ownership here is strong.

The Lakeshore area of Vancouver, WA borders Vancouver Lake to the east. Lakeshore is an older part of the city, with many of the homes being built out between the 1960s-1990s. Many of the homes in Lakeshore have beautiful, sweeping views of the lake. Pride of ownership in many of Lakeshore’s subdivisions is strong. Most of the area has no Home Owner’s Association (HOA)(for homes built before approx. 2000). Lakeshore is a historic part of Vancouver, being one of the original places that residents settled down and built homes.

The closest shopping to Lakeshore is in Hazel Dell along i5 and Highway 99. Everything from grocery stores, hardware stores, fast-casual restaurants, gyms, small businesses, and more are located in this shopping area just 5-10 minutes away from the heart of Lakeshore.

Lakeshore Ave, which borders Vancouver Lake to the East, provides a scenic view of the lake and Lakeshore area. As an aside, nearly all of the land surrounding Vancouver Lake is protected for public use and owner by Clark County Legacy Lands, Washington State, the City of Vancouver, and Clark County Parks. There is one small subdivision in the NE corner of the Lake that borders directly on the Vancouver Lake.

Overall, Lakeshore has a storied history and continues to have a great reputation into the 2020’s.
