Barberton is characterized by a mix of older homes (90s and early 2000s) and newer (2012+) and is in a highly convenient location. It really does have a little something for everyone.

Named after the 13 mile creek that runs through Vancouver, Burnt Bridge Creek is characterized almost exclusively by smaller 3-4 bedrooms, built from the 70s-90s. This is a great area to find a starter home, budget-friendly home, or a smaller size home. Most of the neighborhoods are no HOA since they were built prior to the financial crisis, which is when HOAs in Clark County became more standard.

Camas is best known for its small-town feel, excellent school district, and beautiful lakes & hiking trails. Camas is the most expensive city in Clark County by a very wide margin.

Cascade Park is a tree-lined, pleasant area of Vancouver that has a rich, well-loved history in the community, built mostly in the 80s and 90s.

Downtown & Uptown Vancouver are the oldest parts of the city by far, with some homes dating back to even the 1800’s. Downtown Vancouver is home to the historical Fort Vancouver, hundereds of local and mid-size businesses, apartments, condos, historic homes, and more.

Ellsworth Springs is tucked away in the corner between I205 and SR14, making it incredibly convenient. It’s home to a variety of higher and lower density homes. The neighborhood has been developed in stages over the years. It is a neighborhood of single family homes, apartment buildings and condominiums.

Evergreen Highway lines the Columbia River with luxury homes both older and newer. Many have views of the water or even private beach access.

Fircrest is community east of I205. The majority of the homes were built in the 1970’s in several subdivisions with most of them being single family homes, and a few apartments in the more urban parts. Bordered on the south by Mill Plain Boulevard, the neighborhood businesses such as restaurants, shops and hotels thrive.

Five Corners provides a central location to freeways and shopping while still maintaining a casual, suburban feel that attracts families and individuals from all around.

Hazel Dell is an old farming community along the West side of Vancouver. It has a wide variety of home styles and businesses, including restaurants, large chains, local businesses, farms, and home styles ranging from single family to apartments.

Hearthwood/Evergreen area is an established, mature area of Vancouver with homes mostly from the 70s – 90s. Most of the homes in the area are smaller, more entry level homes with either 3 or 4 bedrooms, both one and two story homes

Image area is a primarily residential area, teeming with smaller single family homes.  Most of the area was built between the 70s and the 90s, meaning that it is a primarily no HOA area. Residents here are free to use their property as they please, making it an ideal spot for those who have a boat or RV, but also want a more affordable home.

Lakeshore was mostly built between the 60’s-90’s and many of these homes have beautiful, sweeping views of the Vancouver Lake. Pride of ownership here is strong.

Landover-Sharmel is a varied neighborhood, filled with unique homes from the 70’s – 90’s, and a good amount of newer development from the last decade. For a list of current development, school, and community projects in the area, click here.

Mill Plain is comprised of a mix of both newer, post-recession homes and 90s homes. Residents of the area love being close to all the amenities and stores in East Vancouver.

Minnehaha is located in nearly the dead-center of Vancouver. Many of the long-standing residents here have a sense of pride, and also enjoy their autonomous lifestyle, as much of the area has no HOAs.

Mt. Vista is comprised of mainly 70’s/80’s subdivision homes, and homes on acreage and is home to Washington State University Vancouver.

Orchards is a large area in North East Vancouver, bordering Brush Prairie with a variety of housing options and many multi-decade residents.

Rose Village & Fourth Plain Village is one of the oldest parts of the city, and these cute bungalows exude charm and energy.

Known for its trails, parks, and proximity to nature, Salmon Creek is a picturesque scenic escape, with both newer and older homes.

Uptown is the trendy, lively little area near Downtown Vancouver with quaint 1900s homes and an ultra-walkable lifestyle. Neighborhoods within Uptown include Hough, Arnada, Carter Park, Shumway, and Lincoln, each with their own character and appeal.

Vancouver Heights is in central Vancouver, comprised of mostly 1950’s – 1980’s homes. The subdivisions within the area are full of character, and appeal to a wide variety of people. Notable subdivisions include Dubois Park, Father Blanchet Park, Evergreen Highlands, and South Cliff.
